Yearnings of a Yellow Rose

Wonder of Fall

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love to see the beautiful colors of the trees. To feel the crispness of the air. It is the time of year we start to burn the fire in the fireplace. We decorate for Halloween. The children get excited about their halloween costumes. We carve our pumpkin. It is also when we take our annual hike in the north Georgia mountains. This year was no different. We packed a picnic lunch and headed out to Amnicalola Falls. The wind was sharp so we ate our picnic lunch in the car. We bundled up and hiked along the falls. We stopped on the way home and bought snow cones and boiled peanuts. These are the traditions I look forward to each year.
